you could note down all symptoms with a rating of 0-10 1 being you have the symptom but not affecting much to 10 cant manage for example and review them every week or so, and if your ratings are slightly lower your magnesium or other supplements or actions could be helping, its about how your feeling and managing daily, I wrote down all my symptoms and took them to the doctor, with brain fog I knew I wouldn't remember a single symptom sitting in front of the doctor, (I wrote them on my phone and then couldn't remember how to find notes on my phone whilst I was sitting there!)

Hi all, quick one because my brain is mush today. Does anyone else find the little symptoms harder to explain than the dramatic ones? I can talk about hot flushes, but the anxious flat feeling and the word-losing are what make me feel least like myself. Writing it down here so I don't pretend I'm fine again x

HOT FLUSHES VANISHING - HRT for 6 weeks and the hot flushes are almost at zero
been using HRT for 6 weeks and waking in the night at what feels like 200degrees has been significantly reduced to only waking slightly hot for a minute, daily hot flushes are down to a slight raise in temperature when getting slightly stressed, I cant believe I put up with daily hot flushes before and could not go back!

sleepness nights
Into the first couple of weeks of HRT not sure if my sleep is any better, less hot flashes in the night to wake me up which is a huge difference, consciously reducing caffeine intake but still not feeling like I have slept well is this still a perimenopause thing anyone else feeling the same?

brain fog
this is hard to write as no words come to mind, but that is exactly what brain fog is, total blankness wondering why your brain doesn't work and when it does work efficiently stops dead int its tracks when in the middle of something that needs thinking about. Does this brain fog ever clear or get better for anyone

i have been practicing yoga for about a year and I honestly think this helps with a calmer mood, if I have not been to a class for a couple of weeks I really do notice a shift in mood, I would definitely mention yoga practice for a inner calm

Only been less than a week taking HRT - oral and spray my hot flushes have calmed down and gone from what felt like constantly throughout the day to just a few, also in the night only waking up once being hot rather than what felt like every hour, feeling better already

took progesterone capsule for first time, I planned for when I knew the following day I was not doing any driving, as the potential side effects are drowsiness, I took the tablet at 10pm and 'waited' to feel drowsy I was hoping it would help me sleep as I have lots of trouble sleeping now, however, I cant say it made much difference so not much of a side effect as I was actually hoping. This is listed on the packet as a common side effect
