libido question, practical answers only

Has anyone had a useful conversation with their GP about libido changes, specifically around what they actually said in the room to get the topic taken seriously? I keep getting to the appointment and defaulting to sleep or mood because those feel easier to explain. I am not looking for reassurance. I want to know what framing worked, or what you tracked beforehand that made the appointment more productive.

mood and food timing

Has anyone noticed a pattern between when they eat and how their mood lands in the afternoon? I've been tracking it loosely for about three weeks. On days I skip lunch or eat late I feel noticeably worse by two or three o'clock, not sad exactly, more like everything is slightly too much. I'm not sure if this is blood sugar, sleep debt, or something else entirely. Curious what others have brought up with their doctor or what they actually changed.

tried magnesium glycinate for sleep

Started magnesium glycinate about three weeks ago after reading enough about it to feel like it was worth a try. The first week I slept through twice, which was unusual enough to notice. Week two was less clear. I was traveling for four days and sleep was poor regardless, so I cannot draw anything useful from that stretch. Back home now and the last few nights have been middling. My mood has been slightly more even, but I had also cleared a difficult work deadline around the same time, so I cannot separate the two. I will keep taking it for another month before I decide anything. The cost is low and it does not seem to be making anything worse.
