I have been trying to sneak more protein into dinners without making it a whole announcement to the family, because honestly the last thing I need is my husband asking why we're suddenly eating differently and me having to explain perimenopause over a bowl of pasta. This week I did a big batch of chicken thighs on Sunday and we've had them three different ways. Genuinely the most low-effort thing I've done in ages and I didn't hit that horrible mid-afternoon slump on Monday or Tuesday, which may be completely unrelated but I am noting it anyway. I'm trying not to turn this into another diet with rules. Just one or two small swaps and see what happens. That's all I can manage right now x
