Practical
Keeping the night cooler
The practical changes women most often say made night sweats more manageable.

The room
A cooler bedroom is easier to sleep in than a warm one. Around 16 to 18°C is the range usually suggested for adults.
Layers you can throw off beat one heavy duvet. Separate covers help if you share a bed with someone who runs warm.
Natural fibres such as cotton, linen and bamboo move moisture better than synthetics.
Nearby
Cold water and a spare top within reach means a night sweat does not turn into being fully awake and rummaging.
A fan aimed across the bed rather than at you is less likely to leave you stiff in the morning.
Worth raising
If night sweats are soaking through nightclothes or bedding regularly, that is worth mentioning to your doctor rather than only managing around.
Sleep is where memory consolidates and mood resets. It compounds further than almost anything else here.
