Disappointing experience with Anti-Inflammatory Diet. My debilitating cramps didn't improve and the side effects outweighed any benefit. Back to square one unfortunately.

I tried Anti-Inflammatory Diet for pain during intimacy but the results were mixed. I noticed a subtle improvement, but the side effects made it hard to continue. Not sure if I'll continue long-term.

Anti-Inflammatory Diet wasn't for me. After 10 weeks of trying, my digestive issues during periods were much the same. Disappointing but at least I know now.

The r/endometriosis community frequently discusses diet as a complementary approach. I shifted to an anti-inflammatory Mediterranean-style diet — lots of fish, olive oil, vegetables, and cutting back on red meat, dairy, and alcohol. It hasn't cured anything but my baseline pain is lower, the bloating ('endo belly') is less severe, and I have more good days than bad. I'm using it alongside my hormonal treatment, not instead of it.

After my second laparoscopy I decided to try an anti-inflammatory diet. I cut out most processed food, reduced dairy and gluten, and focused on vegetables, fish, and good fats. It took about 6 weeks before I noticed less bloating and my period pain dropped from an 8/10 to about a 5/10. Not a cure but a meaningful improvement in my daily quality of life.
