B-Complex helped somewhat with my fatigue and weight gain from thyroid issues — hot flashes reduced a bit, though the hot flashes continued. It's OK but I expected more.
After 10 weeks on B-Complex, I'd say it made a modest difference to my fatigue and weight gain from thyroid issues. Hard to tell if it was this or other lifestyle changes. It's OK but I expected more.
My pharmacist suggested B-Complex for my thyroid and hormonal symptoms combined. It took about 2 weeks to notice anything, but by week 10 I could function normally again. Worth persevering through the first few weeks.
I was sceptical about B-Complex but desperate with my subclinical hypothyroidism symptoms. the worst of the symptoms eased. By week 8, I felt significantly better. Would definitely continue.
I started B-Complex after dealing with subclinical hypothyroidism symptoms for months. By week 4 I noticed the frequency of symptoms reduced. At 6 weeks, the improvement was really noticeable. Very happy with the results so far.
Research context compiled from published sources
B vitamins serve as coenzymes in core metabolic pathways. B6 is required for serotonin and dopamine synthesis. B9 (folate) and B12 drive the methylation cycle, which is critical for oestrogen detoxification in the liver. B3 supports NAD+ production. Deficiencies in B12 (common in women on metformin or with absorption issues) are linked to fatigue and neuropathy.
