My naturopath suggested Venlafaxine for my unpredictable flushing. It took about 3 weeks to notice anything, but by week 10 the symptoms were about 70% better. Would definitely continue.

I tried Venlafaxine for severe night sweats but the results were mixed. I felt a bit more like myself, but it didn't hold up long-term. Not a miracle but not nothing either.

My naturopath suggested Venlafaxine for my hot flashes disrupting sleep. It took about 2 weeks to notice anything, but by week 8 I was sleeping through the night. Very happy with the results so far.

I gave Venlafaxine a fair trial for my hot flashes and chills. Some improvement in mood stabilised slightly but the hot flashes continued persisted. Not sure if I'll continue long-term.

I was given venlafaxine at the lower dose for hot flashes and the first two weeks were horrible — constant nausea and I couldn't sleep. Once that settled the hot flashes reduced moderately, perhaps by a third. The problem is that the side effects are persistent and I now face the prospect of withdrawal symptoms if I want to stop. I wish I'd been told more about that beforehand. It's helped but it's not a straightforward treatment and the withdrawal concerns weigh on me.
