Wind down

Legs up the wall for ten minutes

Lie on your back, legs resting up a wall, do nothing else

10 min

How to do it

Lie on the floor near a wall, swing your legs up so they rest against it, arms loose at your sides. Stay for ten minutes. Let your breath do whatever it wants.

What the evidence says

This is a restorative yoga pose, and the evidence for restorative postures is mostly in self-reported calm and reduced muscular tension rather than large trial data specific to menopause. It's a low-risk, low-effort way to force ten minutes of stillness into a day, which is the honest reason it's here.
