Tried
I've been using Estradiol Gel for about 10 weeks now for frequent hot flashes throughout the day. I slept better for the first time in months around week 3. the symptoms were about 70% better. It's been a real game-changer for me.

Estradiol Gel has been surprisingly effective for my hot flashes at work. I noticed things started to shift slightly fairly quickly. I felt like I had my life back over the following weeks. It's not perfect but it's made a real difference.

Tried
I tried Estradiol Gel for embarrassing flushing episodes but the results were mixed. I felt a bit more like myself, but it didn't hold up long-term. I may try increasing the dose.

After eight weeks on two pumps of Oestrogel my hot flashes reduced from about twelve a day to eight — an improvement but still disruptive. I'd expected a more dramatic response based on what I'd read online. My GP was reluctant to increase the dose but my menopause specialist says the starting dose isn't adequate for all women and we're now titrating upward. I think there's a real problem with under-dosing and then concluding HRT isn't working.

HRT alone reduced my hot flashes from fifteen a day to about five but I wanted better control. Eliminating alcohol completely and cutting caffeine after noon brought them down to one or two mild flashes daily. The combination of hormonal treatment and trigger avoidance was more effective than either alone. I notice immediately if I have a glass of wine — I'll wake with night sweats that night without fail. It's a clear cause and effect.
