I tried Estradiol Gel for loss of confidence and low mood but the results were mixed. I felt a bit more like myself, but the side effects made it hard to continue. It's OK but I expected more.

After 10 weeks on Estradiol Gel, I'd say it made a modest difference to my loss of confidence and low mood. Some symptoms improved while others stayed the same. Not sure if I'll continue long-term.

Estradiol Gel helped somewhat with my sleep problems and fatigue — mood stabilised slightly, though sleep didn't improve much. It's OK but I expected more.

The full trio of oestradiol, testosterone and progesterone has been transformative. I feel better at 55 than I did at 45. The hot flashes, brain fog, fatigue and low mood are all essentially gone. It took some tweaking to get the doses right but my menopause specialist was excellent throughout.

I already had a Mirena fitted for heavy periods so my specialist used it as the progestogen component of my HRT. Adding the estradiol gel was straightforward. After some initial spotting as my uterus settled, the combination completely resolved my hot flashes and sleep issues within three months.
