I tried Myo-Inositol for hormonal acne and oily skin but the results were mixed. I noticed a subtle improvement, but the side effects made it hard to continue. Not a miracle but not nothing either.

Myo-Inositol wasn't for me. After 8 weeks of trying, my irregular periods and mood swings were much the same. Moved on to something else.

I started Myo-Inositol after dealing with irregular periods and mood swings for months. By week 4 I noticed I had more energy. At 12 weeks, I was sleeping through the night. It's not perfect but it's made a real difference.

I gave Myo-Inositol a fair trial for my excess hair growth and acne. Some improvement in sleep got better but the hot flashes continued persisted. Might try something different.

The meta-analysis comparing inositol to metformin for PCOS was what convinced my endocrinologist to let me try it. The data showed comparable effects on menstrual regularity and hormonal profiles but with significantly fewer side effects. After 4 months my cycles went from 50+ days to 32 days, testosterone levels dropped, and I had none of the GI issues I'd experienced on metformin.
